My name is Milan Jelisavcic. I am a PhD student in the Computational Intelligence Group of the department of Artificial Intelligence at the VU University in Amsterdam. I studied Computer Engineering at University of Kragujevac and University of Belgrade. After Masters’ I started working at RT-RK Institute for Computer Based Systems as Embedded Software Engineer for a two years. From 2015, I started my PhD at VU Amsterdam, on the Robot Baby project.
Robot Baby is first implementation of Triangle of Life in real hardware, including on-line evolution of robot learning, and evolving morphology of robots. This enables robots to overcome ‘Reality Gap’ we have in simulations, and to evolve new morphologies.
